Press Release: London Executive Offices Leases Prime Building in Chelsea

24th February 2015 : London Executive Offices, a collection of five-star serviced and virtual offices in London, today announced that it has boosted its portfolio in the capital by completing the lease of two floors in a prime building in the Chelsea/South Kensington area:

  • Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road, SW3

LEO will occupy the first and second floors in the building which were leased directly from Michelin House Development. The building adds approximately 28,000 sq. ft. of serviced office space to LEO’s already impressive building portfolio.

Michelin House at 81 Fulham Road, was originally commissioned by the Michelin Tyre Company as its first permanent British headquarters in 1909. Its listed Art Deco façade has become a much-photographed London landmark and is regarded as one of the most significant pieces of architecture in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Michelin moved out of the building in 1985. The current owners then bought the building and refurbished it, restoring many of its most prominent original features, creating high quality offices, Bibendum Restaurant, the Oyster Bar and the Conran Shop. The second floor benefits from a stunning roof terrace that enjoys views over the surrounding area.

The lease of Michelin House, 81 Fulham Road, fits in with LEO’s overall growth strategy to expand its prime Central London portfolio, which included the acquisition of six buildings in 2014.
